Weekend in Philly

Trip with college roommate to visit a friend for a weekend. Went to a football game. Went in September 2017. It was a warmer weekend so I brought mostly shorts and shortsleeves. Bring sunglasses!

After the game snack

Blaze Pizza, West Montgomery Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, United States

Create your own pizza. It was my first time but very delicious! I will be coming back. Totally recommend!

We all scream for ice cream!

The Franklin Fountain, Market Street, Philadelphia, PA, United States

Had the hydrox cookie(cookies and creme). If you order in a cup it's served in a Chinese takeout container!! Never seen anything like that at a ice cream place.

Relaxing

Spruce Street Harbor Park, South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA, United States

We looked out at the water while we finished our ice cream and then walked down to the park. Tons of hammocks, tons of people. When we were there someone was kind enough and saved us their hammock once they were done. Tons of fun!

FOOD

Reading Terminal Market, North 12th Street, Philadelphia, PA, United States

For brunch the next day, I got a cream cheese cheesesteak from Carmen's inside the Reading Terminal Market. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!! Had a great conversation with the employees as well.

Stroll

Art Museum, Philadelphia, PA, United States

We walked from the reading terminal to the art museum and then down to kelly drive next to boat house row. We ubered back to my friends house.
