New Orlean's Trip for a Lacrosse Tournament turned out to be MORE than just a Bourbon Street Week long party.

Cafe Du Monde

Cafe Du Monde, Decatur Street, New Orleans, LA, United States

First touristy thing every first NOLA Visitor must do is get a beignet at Cafe Du Monde. Enjoy the atmosphere with some brunch or a quick bite here.

French Quarters Sight Seeing

French Quarter, New Orleans, LA, United States

Walk around the French Quarters to get away from the sometimes crowded Bourbon Street and enjoy what the rest of the beautiful city has to offer. There are street performers singing, dancing and performing everywhere.

Ghost Tour Bar Crawl

817 St Peter St, New Orleans, LA 70116, USA

If you have time, set up a local Ghost Tour with your significant other and/or as a pre-game before you go out at night. The tour consists of starting and ending at a local bar. You can have your drink-to-go on your walk around town and sight-see the local haunted houses and ghost infested places that your Tour guide will point out. If you aren't into the tour, you can enjoy your two beverages that are included with the tour.

Mardi Gras

Bourbon Street, New Orleans, LA, United States

Mardi-Gras on Bourbon Street was swamped with people throwing beads and dancing in the streets (I was into it). Bar hop up & down the street refilling your beverage as you take in the night-life. I would recommend stocking up on as much beads and confetti as you can during the day to enjoy yourself for the whole night. TIP- Be careful for pick-picketers & people scamming you with drug offers and/or deals at bars.
