Gluten Free Eats in NYC!

These are some of my absolute FAVORITE places to eat when visiting NYC. All offer safe and delicious meals that are gluten free!

Keste

Kesté Pizza & Vino, Bleecker Street, New York, NY, United States

This place is ALWAYS on my must-visit list when traveling to NYC. It's a cute little restaurant with only about 20 tables, but they know what they are doing. They have so many gluten free options, and even cook their gluten free pizzas in a separate oven! Some of the best pizza I've ever had - GF or not... and others agree. And if you stop in during the weekdays, they will even make you a GF Nutella stuffed pizza crust for dessert and OMG. So good! Keste does not accept reservations but it's so worth the wait!

Bistango

Bistango, 3rd Avenue, New York, NY, United States

This is a cute little Italian spot right in Murray Hill. When you sit down, they ask you if you have any food allergies (my kind of place!) and make a note accordingly. If you are gluten free, they bring you fresh baked GF bread and your own garlicky dipping oil. Almost their entire menu can be made GF and everything tastes amazing. Some of my favorite dishes are the homemade raviolis and the shrimp scampi.

Lilli and Loo

Lilli and Loo, Lexington Avenue, New York, NY, United States

Finding good Chinese food that's also gluten free seems nearly impossible, especially in NYC, but this place does it right! Such an extensive GF menu, and they cook all of the GF items separately. They take all of the classics (think General Tso, Kung Pao Chicken, Sesame Chicken, etc) and they do it right. You won't even miss the gluten here!

Nizza

Nizza, 9th Avenue, New York, NY, United States

This place is in the heart of the theater district, so it's a perfect place to grab a delicious bite to eat before seeing a show. They have gluten free, freshly baked breadsticks that are awesome and served with a ricotta oil dipping sauce, and also offer a variety of GF meals like pastas, chickpea pizzas & other entrees. I've brought my family here a few times and everyone loves it. This place is always popping, so be sure to make a reservation!

Rosa Mexicano

Rosa Mexicano, East 18th Street, New York, NY, United States

Such a good gluten free menu with so many options. At this location ONLY, they fry their chips in a separate fryer so there's no cross contamination. They'll even make you a fresh bowl of guac table side. I could eat everything on that menu, but the enchiladas are my favorite go-to! And also, what's a Mexican night without a margarita?! They make them fresh, and offer so many different types of margs and tequila that you'll be in heaven.
