Chi-town=My-town

My first trip to Chicago with my fiancé this past April introduced me to one of my favorite cities of all time! We had a friends wedding to go to at “The Ovation” and figured, why not make a 4-day weekend out of it?! So we packed our bags, accidentally only prepared for warm weather! Wore short sleeves at “the bean” by day and had to buy a hat and gloves to watch the Cubs @ Wrigley field by night!

Foodie Town

Wheat's End Cafe, North Broadway, Chicago, IL, United States

If your looking for a good quality filling meal but happens to be sans gluten...look no further!

If you're looking for a wedding venue in Chi-town

Ovation Chicago, West Fulton Street, Chicago, IL, United States

Best Brunch in town!

Little Goat Diner, West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL, United States

Save the best for last..a little bit of everything delicious and savory. The best combination of salty and sweet hitting all your taste buds at once!

Dessert

Firecakes Donuts, West Hubbard Street, Chicago, IL, United States

Pretty sure the wasn't gluten free but so worth it...Vanilla glazed donut with bacon and fresh pineapple to finish =)

Best way to see the city!

Chicago Architecture River Cruise, North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL, United States

If its anytime before May, bundle up just in case! Gorgeous views and loved hearing the history behind it all.

At the old ball game

Wrigley Field, West Addison Street, Chicago, IL, United States

When you want a slice of home

The Hampton Social, West Hubbard Street, Chicago, IL, United States

The food was good but the rose probably helped. Great place to have a few cocktails and take some pretty pictures ;-)

When you're in Mahalo but you're really in Chicago...

Mahalo, North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL, United States

What you see is what you get <3

Before the Zoo

Lincoln Park Conservatory, North Stockton Drive, Chicago, IL, United States

Was pleased to find a hidden gem on the way to the zoo!

Jet Set Share Essentials

J.F.K. International Airport, NY, United States

What a *basic health coach posts as their first picture of the trip =)
