Bachelorette Party in Charleston, South Carolina

I went to Charleston last year for my sisters bachelorette party. I was the MOH, which meant I was held responsible for planning a fun filled weekend... and for 19 girls! It worked out so well and Charleston is the cutest little city!

Airbnb

Folly Beach, SC, United States

We rented a house on Folly Beach which is about 20 minutes from downtown Charleston. Folly Beach is a great location because it's walking distance to the Folly strip which has a few cute bars and restaurants but still close to Charleston. We took Ubers when we went downtown and they were really inexpensive. We wanted have the best of both worlds (downtown and beach time) but found the perfect house that was large enough to sleep 19 girls and was literally on the beach! The house was perfect - had a BBQ on the deck which was a few feet from the beach. I definitely recommend renting a house vs a hotel with such a large group.

Lighthouse Tour

Bowens Island Road, Charleston, SC, United States

This was a fun and cool adventure! The bride loves the beach/boats so I wanted to plan an activity that she would be really into. We rented a private boat that came with a captain to take us around the bay for a sunset cruise. The boat left from Bowens Island and lasted for around 3 hours. It was BYOB. Obviously, we packed lots of rosé and some snacks. It was fairly inexpensive, around $35 PP. AND, we got to see Dolphins!

Rainbow Row

6 Concord St, Charleston, SC 29401, USA

Cutest and most charming little street downtown. Definitely need to visit and take some pictures if you're in Charleston.

Hominy Gril

Hominy Grill, Rutledge Avenue, Charleston, SC, United States

Fried chicken, biscuits and grits... Need I say more? A great southern brunch and they were able to accommodate our large group!

Anson

Anson Restaurant, Anson Street, Charleston, SC, United States

This was our "big" night out dinner. The restaurant is on the dressier side but not too fancy. They were able to accommodate our large party with one long table and a custom designed a price fix menu that they printed with the brides #hashtag! I thought this was so cute of them! They offered us many price fix options via email before confirming that were all affordable and included alcohol.

Pineapple Fountain

Waterfront Park, Charleston, SC, United States

Famous pineapple fountain in the downtown historic district.

Callie's Hot Little Biscuit

Callie's Hot Little Biscuit, King Street, Charleston, SC, United States

Hot little biscuits is exactly what they are... Charleston's late night food! In NY, you go to Artichoke Pizza. In Charleston, you go Callie's Hot Little Biscuits (ha). From 1-3AM, the line is out the door with fresh/warm biscuits. I think we may have gotten 2 dozen biscuits for the Uber home. The buttermilk ones were seriously amazing!
