10 Days Honeymooning in South Africa - Kruger National Park, Cape Town & a drive along the Garden Route to Knysna.

3 nights at Imbali Safari Lodge

Imbali Safari Lodge, Kruger Park, Mpumalanga, South Africa

Amazing Safari Lodge on a private hectare within Kruger National Park. The rooms at Imbali were beautiful with a private infinite pool on a deck overlooking the park. The safari rangers were knowledgeable, we saw so many animals - Elephant, Lions, Zebra, Impala, Giraffe, Water Buffalo, Wild Dogs, Hyenas, White Rhino's, and more! The food was great! The staff were so accommodating.

We celebrated Christmas at the lodge and they hosted a beautiful Christmas dinner for all the guests! Amazing experience.

Skukuza Airport in Kruger National Park

This is one of the 2 airports in Kruger. Flying in here was literally like landing right on a safari. The airport is almost completely open and very small. Right when we left the airport gates we saw a ton of game: elephants, water buffalo, giraffe, etc!

3 nights at Ocean-View House, Camps Bay

Nice hotel in Camps Bay overlooking the Atlantic and with amazing views of the 12 apostles. The location is amazing! Rooms were clean and included a delicious continental breakfast.

Lions Head

Lion's Head, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

Pretty strenuous hike, but amazing views and absolutely worth it! Get up early on a clear day in Cape Town and do this!!

Great White Cage Diving

Gansbaai, Western Cape, South Africa

Yep - we did it! We got in cages with great white sharks. It was unreal! The experience is a little touristy overall - but still amazing to witness these beings in real life, up close and personal. This is about a 2.5hr drive outside of Cape Town, so will take an entire day.

Table Mountain

We hiked up and took the cable car down. Definitely a must-do/see while in Cape Town. Beautiful views.

Beautiful vineyards about 45 minutes outside of the city. We preferred Franshhoek over Stellenbosch. It was more quaint.
