2 days in Ireland

How I turned a layover, turned two day stop in Ireland into a trip that kicked things off my bucket list.

Exploring Dublin

Dublin, Ireland

Exploring the city is always my favorite part of any travel. Downtown Dublin is a very alive city. You can find music, classic pub food and history on every corner. I highly recommend just taking a day away from tourist activities and just walking around, seeing what catches your eye.

Horse back riding on the beach in Co. Clare

Co. Clare, Ireland

Horse back riding on the Bech in Ireland was always the joke on my bucket list. After finding out that my flight to Lisbon had a layover in Dublin, we extended that layover for 2 days. We rented a car and drove to Co.Clare mostly because of family ties to the area. My mom decided to surprise me as it was my 18th birthday with something to check off my bucket list. This was one of the most amazing experiences I will ever have. Our guide, Peter was the best we could have asked for letting us ride through the water, giving us an amazing over all experience. Highly recommend.

Cliffs of Moher

Cliffs of Moher, Clare, Ireland

Despite the cold and rainy weather this was a breath taking, typical tourist experience everyone should have. The cliffs which have been used in many films including a person favorite, The Princess Bride, are one of the most iconic places in Ireland. Make sure to dress warm as it is usually rainy and windy. Don't forget to get a nice cup of tea after.
